Treece’s polish – Treece Polish Co. Ltd. – Treece’s Polish – Clayton St., Nottingham
This 95mm diameter tin with butterfly twist off lid is simply printed in dark blue and red on a white ground. The tin states they had made polish since 1899. It became a limited company on 1st January 1900 and the company was dissolved in 1976. Clayton Street was in the Meadows area of Nottingham but the area was cleared some time after 1976 and now lies underneath an industrial estate.
