Blanco No. 53

Blanco shade number 53

While this product is post-1900 it is certainly of early vintage. The colour is very similar, if not identical to the later KG3, indicating that this shade had been available and in the inventory for perhaps 40 years before being picked up again for use in the European Theatre of Operations in WWII. Quite who used shade no 53 and why isn’t known.
