From StigRoadie’s collection and obtained from old factory stores. Notes on the wrapper “Sample submitted to Naafi 28 July 1948 & accepted as standard Khaki Green (Dark) on 29 September 1948”. This is the only known example so it is very probable the project wasn’t carried through – the colours that made it through to the tinned paste types of the 1950’s were just 97, 103, 61, KG3 and RAF Blue-Grey. The colour of 234 is the same as KG3 but of a lighter shade.
